Risk Warning

Последнее обновление: 29 июля 2026 г.

1. What this service is

ForexDNA provides an automated trading strategy that runs on a MetaTrader 5 account held in your own name with your own broker. You open and fund the account yourself, and the money in it remains yours throughout. You give us the MT5 terminal login for that account so the strategy can be deployed to it. Those credentials allow trades to be placed and closed on the account. They do not allow withdrawals, deposits, or any change to your broker profile. Those require your broker portal login, which we never ask for and never hold.

2. Your capital is at risk

Trading foreign exchange carries a high level of risk. You can lose money, and you can lose a substantial part or all of the money you place in the account. There is no protection against loss, no guaranteed return, and no minimum outcome. You should not use this service with money you cannot afford to lose, money you need for living costs or debts, or money you have borrowed.

3. Leverage

The strategy requires an account set to 1:500 or 1:100 leverage. Leverage means the positions taken are much larger than the money in your account. At 1:500, a position can be up to five hundred times your balance. This multiplies gains and losses equally. A small adverse move in the market can therefore produce a large loss relative to your balance, and can do so quickly. Losses are normally limited to the funds in your account, because the brokers we support offer negative balance protection for retail clients, but you should confirm that with your broker rather than assume it.

4. Past performance and projected figures

Any performance figures shown on this website are historical results from a single account over a limited period, and are not a promise or a forecast of what your account will do. Past performance is not a reliable indicator of future results. Where the site shows six-month or twelve-month figures, those are projections calculated by multiplying a measured monthly return. They are not results, and no account has achieved them. They are presented flat rather than compounded. A different period, a different account size, or different market conditions will produce a different outcome, including a loss.

5. Nothing here is advice

Nothing on this website, in our emails, or in any communication from us is investment advice, a personal recommendation, or an opinion on whether this service is right for you. We do not assess your financial circumstances, your experience, your objectives or your tolerance for loss, and we do not carry out any suitability or appropriateness assessment. If you want advice about whether this is suitable for you, seek it from someone authorised to give it.

6. Our regulatory status

ForexDNA is not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. We are not a broker, we do not hold client money, and we do not have permission to give investment advice or to manage investments. Your funds are held by your own broker, in an account in your own name, and the protections available to you are those your broker provides. Not ours. The Financial Services Compensation Scheme and the Financial Ombudsman Service do not cover this service.

7. Who this is not for

This service is not appropriate for you if you do not understand how leveraged foreign exchange trading works, if you cannot afford to lose the money involved, if you need the money within a defined timeframe, or if you would be unable to tolerate a period of losses. It is not available to anyone under 18. If you are unsure whether you understand the risks, do not connect an account.

8. Technology and execution risk

An automated strategy depends on systems that can fail. Your terminal or hosting can lose connectivity or power; your broker can suffer an outage, requote, widen spreads, or reject orders; the strategy itself can be affected by an error or an unexpected market condition. Orders may be filled at a worse price than intended, particularly during news events or at market open. Positions that are open when a failure occurs remain open and remain your exposure. We do not guarantee that the strategy will run continuously or without interruption.

9. Control and monitoring

We operate risk controls that can pause new trades across connected accounts, including automatically if drawdown passes a set threshold. These are intended to reduce risk, but they are not a guarantee against loss and they may not act quickly enough in a fast-moving market. They can also fail. You remain responsible for monitoring your own account. You can stop the strategy at any time by changing your MT5 password, removing the strategy from your terminal, or asking us to disconnect. And you should do so immediately if you no longer wish to be exposed.

10. No guarantee

We do not guarantee any profit, any level of return, any win rate, or any maximum loss. Any statement anywhere on this site that appears to promise a particular outcome should be read subject to this section, which takes precedence.
